Creating Aspirational Homes

A PLAIN NEUTRAL KITCHEN AND LIVING SPACE DID NOT REFLECT THE BIG PERSONALITIES OF THESE FUN-LOVING CLIENTS.

The team at Caroline Gardner Design are proud to present one of their latest interior design projects. The brief from Heather and Wayne was to create a ‘dark, moody and relaxing atmosphere with a party vibe’ in their large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area.

“OUR TEAM OF CRAFTSPEOPLE ARE HAND CHOSEN TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCY AND DISCRETION.”

The challenge was to combine contemporary and traditional design schemes, to meet the demands of both parties.

Lighting was going to be key to the success of this project, not only to create both mood and atmosphere but also to define the space in this open plan scheme. By building ceiling coffers with perimeter LED lighting, we were able to house the audio system, and include bespoke pendant lights and directional spotlights, which added layers of lighting for different effects.

A fully bespoke kitchen – designed to add texture and drama. The waterfall granite worktop was mitred on site to create a seamless geometric angle to the floor. Honeycomb panelling encased in glass and backlit was also incorporated for a truly unique effect.

“WE ARE AN EXCLUSIVE LUXURY INTERIOR DESIGN BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN EXCEEDING THE EXPECTATIONS OF DISCERNING CLIENTS FOR NEARLY 20 YEARS. ”

Metalised cork wall covering and layered window treatments have brought the living area to life, with the use of soft textured rugs and bespoke upholstery to create a cosy family lounge area and entertainment space.

The feature sideboard was designed using wood veneers, book matched for maximum effect with a marble top and black nickel detailing. This, along with the faux concrete dining table are both stylish and practical for everyday usage.
