Block the cyber bullies!

Get out of my club! You’re s***, please leave! I hope x/y happens to you/your family! You [insert any racist comment]. With the meteoric rise of social media in the last 10-15 years, access to the work and private life of a player is more accessible than ever, bringing a closer fan/player relationship than ever before. With this however, comes the dark side of social media – cyber bullying. Almost everyone with a social media account has received some form of bullying online, whether that be jestful bullying like calling someone a ‘Karen’ or the more severe: racial slurs, body image shaming and death threats. At Premier Life Coaching we help you silence the bullies, preventing them from being able to make you feel the negative thoughts that they are aiming for.

Do you get overly anxious pregame?

Of course, a little nervousness is normal and sometimes beneficial; however, if you feel overly anxious either the night before or on match days this can severely affect your performance, which can jeopardise your place in the team and ultimately achieving your potential. Who do you turn to? You could speak to one of the coaches or even the club sports psychologist (if they have one) but are you confident that this wouldn’t also put your place in the team or even club at risk? At premier life coaching, we can help you overcome these feelings of anxiousness; help you feel more relaxed in the lead up to and during a game. Teaching you techniques to relax at bedtime, to sleep better and how to get in the zone; so that all the overwhelming, unhelpful thoughts no longer bother you.

Have you and your partner recently moved clubs and feeling lonely/isolated?

Moving clubs can be an incredibly stressful time for both players and their families. If you or your partner has recently relocated and one or both of you are feeling stressed, anxious, or lonely then we can assist with this by helping you to feel calmer, cope better with stressful situations and give you the confidence to integrate with your new surroundings and social circles.

Have you experienced a traumatic incident? Have you been burgled and no longer feel safe in your home?

Or maybe you’ve experienced a different traumatic incident at some stage in your life?

Traumatic events are deemed as traumatic only by the person that experiences them and aren’t comparable to another person’s individual traumatic event. At Premier Life Coaching we can eliminate any unwanted thoughts or feelings from your mind, de-traumatise any bad memories and teach you how to remain calm should you find yourself in a scenario that triggers any past memories of trauma.

Are you managing everything at home?

Is your relationship/marriage strained? Do you feel like you have no support from your partner? Are you struggling with raising or bonding with a child? Are you going through a breakup? Have you or your partner been unfaithful? At Premier Life Coaching we can help you overcome all the above and more with a variety of different techniques and teach you ways to cope. Whether you want help alone, as a couple or as a family. Get in touch today to discover our “Kommunicate with Kids” workshop; teaching you powerful language patterns to help you get the most out of your child.

Do you have a fear or phobia?

Are you terrified of flying? Scared of the sea/swimming pool? Does an image or thought of something like a spider, snake or insect make you shudder with fear? Did you know that we are only born with two fears? The fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Any other fear or phobia that you have is a learned behaviour that either has an initial sensitising event or has been learned over time either by yourself or through an influential figure in your life. At Premier Life Coaching we can help you to eliminate fears and phobias forever so that you can enjoy your life without those unwanted sensations holding you back. Imagine being able to get a flight without all the worry and panic? Being able to enjoy being at the beach or by the pool with your family? Maybe you don’t want your child to experience your fear of spiders?

Do you experience imposter syndrome?

Impostor syndrome (also known as impostor phenomenon, impostorism, fraud syndrome or the impostor experience) is a psychological pattern in which an individual doubts their skills, talents or accomplishments and has a persistent internalised fear of being exposed as a “fraud”. Despite external evidence of their competence, those experiencing this phenomenon remain convinced that they are frauds, and do not deserve all they have achieved. At Premier Life Coaching we can help you overcome this with a variety of techniques to help you realise your true self-worth, increase your personal and professional confidence, and teach you how to celebrate your personal achievements.
