Improving or moving

your one-of-a-kind home

Whether clients have secured a new piece of land, want to redevelop their current plot or transform their property with a sizeable extension, Octagon Bespoke can assist in creating a unique tailor-made home.

Experts at designing and building award-winning brand-new homes as well as carrying out extensive restorations and renovations, Octagon have a broad history with custom-made homes in premier and exclusive locations. Each project champions the Octagon hallmark – a high quality design and build and impeccable expert service, from concept to delivery.

Head of Bespoke at Octagon, Laurence Holder comments, “We’ve seen an influx of enquiries from clients over the past few years, with more and more people looking to design and build a home that’s completely unique to them. They come to us at various stages – some may have a plot of land or a home they’re looking to extend, restore or replace, while others are searching for the perfect location for their dream home – and we are well equipped to accommodate both.”

Previous Octagon Bespoke clients Pauline and Toni owned a large house within a prestigious private estate in Cobham, Surrey for many years, which had become tired, dated and in need of development.

Working with Octagon Bespoke, they decided to start from scratch and build their ideal property, turning their visions into a reality. “This was our third self-build but the first with Octagon, so we understood the process and knew what we wanted. The Italian way is to have the master suite positioned on the ground floor overlooking the garden, so we took inspiration from our holiday home and created a fantastic master suite with private lounge, two walk in wardrobes and a shared bathroom – it’s a real oasis!”

As well as delivering entire properties, Octagon’s Bespoke team are also able to facilitate major extensions and renovations, helping clients unlock the potential of their existing home. Clients can opt for a complete remodel or extension of their Octagon home – from leisure suites with swimming pools, steam rooms and yoga studios, to extending basements with at-home cinemas, wine cellars and guest bedrooms. One example was on the Wentworth Estate in Virginia Water with the client wanting to extend their already sizable 9,000 sq ft Octagon home by a third – creating more space for entertaining guests, including a bar, cinema room and two formal drawing rooms.

Current Bespoke sites range from a super mansion which sits adjacent the world-renowned championship golf course at St. George’s Hill to a 5-bedroom contemporary property in the highly desirable Highgate location.

To ensure a seamless experience to the Octagon buyer experience, Octagon launched Octagon Interiors in early 2020, a turnkey interior design service available exclusively to new and historic clients, whether buying a speculative build or working with the bespoke division to build their dream home.

Offering a comprehensive interior design service from design consultancy to delivery, clients work directly with the in-house team to create a personalised scheme that mirrors the splendour of the exterior architecture of the property. The interiors service is a rare partnership between house builder and interior designer, where the team are involved from initial conversations with the architects, to the finishing touches on your coffee table.

Octagon Interiors deliver to every client brief. From modern to classical, the team has huge creative scope having already worked on projects ranging from a two-bedroom apartment to a 12,000 sq/ft super mansion.

Octagon Interiors are currently working on a variety of exciting projects across Surrey, Central London and Kent, including a super mansion designed to create a warm and welcoming, yet luxurious home that challenges the more typical Octagon look, Octagon Interiors have created a sumptuous design with clean, sleek, and modern interiors.

Octagon Bespoke undertake projects from £2.25mil.
